MR Enterography 1.5T

GE Healthcare – MR Gadopiclenol (VUEWAY®) Protocols

Instructions: • OK to miss dome of liver. Coverage Mid Liver to Perineum. Bind SSFSE series together
• Glucagon optional but encouraged
• NP0 6 hours
• Patient to arrive 60 min ahead to drink oral contrast (oral contrast OK to omit if patient cannot or won’t drink)
• VoLumen/Breeza
• <130 lbs – 2 bottles = drink evenly 45-60 min prior to exam
• One cup of water when patient is on the table
• IV contrast: 0.1 mmol/kg, 2 mL/sec
• Glucagon: 0.6-1 mg glucagon given IV (Can be given all at once before T2 SSFSE or split to half amount before T2 SSFSE and half amount before T1s)
• Push slowly over 1 min to avoid emesis
Common Indication: Small bowel pathology
Position: Consider prone position if patient is able
Coil: 8 or 12 channel Body coil, GEMS array, or Air coil
Landmark: Iliac Crest
