GE Healthcare – MR Gadopiclenol (VUEWAY®) Protocols

Indications: • This protocol is to be used for patients who are unable to tolerate normal scan times and MR is critical to diagnosis
• Useful for extreme motion, severe claustrophobia or very sick patients
Instructions: • Do NOT administer any gadolinium-based contrast agent dose
• For small children, bundle tightly in a blanket and place extra sponges around head for safety
• Have a parent lie prone on the table so they can soothe the child and hold the head if necessary
• Scan as quickly as possible by using manual pre-scan instead of auto pre-scan
• The patient may be moving and crying, but most images will be OK
