Instructions And Patient Preparation

Instructions: • Sagittal – Cover through foramina, T1-conus
• Axial – Top of T11 through T12 – can use two stacks (upper and lower) angled to disc spaces
• For sequences with Fat Sat, place shim centered on upper T-Spine to improve quality
Common Indications: Tumor, multiple sclerosis, infection, post surgery
Position: Supine, head first
Coil: C/T/L (CTL245), HNU + GEMS Spine
Landmark: Mid neck
